drank and chilled with some of my brother and cousins friends for my cousins party, than after that, we decided to go on a cruise around Mt. Hamilton.
I thought it’d be fun bring my E36 out so I had to keep up with an IS and an LS1 S14. I totally thought that they were going to just go at a leisurely pace, but they decided to just make that road into a circuit.
Pretty bumpy on both the uphill and downhill. having to keep up with that S14 was just incredibly hard on the uphill, car just couldn’t put out enough power at the lower RPM range so I had to keep the gear’s really low but whenever I did, I would run out of room to rev and would have to change the gear. brakes were pretty squirrely but I managed. Learned a lot just from tailing the S14, taking its lines. It was hard at first, knowing when to let off the brake and come onto the accelerator while on the hairpins and sharp turns. But eventually I got used to it.
The new shocks and springs are pretty remarkable. there was minimal body roll and cornering speeds were increased drastically. really diggin the set up I have now.
Had an extremely fun time, probably will do it again, but i need to get new tires and fix my brake line; i have to push pretty far down before it actually stops.
Still not even asleep yet. still got all those corners rushing through my head.
